Beauty and the Beast meets the Xbox 360

On Thursday, March 8th we will be going to see NTHS Beauty and the Beast after a pizza party and Xbox 360 in room 274, Winnetka campus. We’re looking forward to the event.
Tickets to the performance are $12.00. Pizza and drinks will come to $5.00 a person. Please pay in advance. I have purchased the tickets already, and will order the pizza and bring in the drinks.
See you (Dennis, Eamonn, Chrisitan, Max E., Connor, Kevin, Jackson, Cam, James, Charlie, and Josh) there!

Our Senior Helper, Ben, is having his last day with us today. We’re sending him off with some sugar, and a gift of one of our Adviser Room sweatshirts. We really appreciated all his did for us and with us since the start of the school. Good times! Keep in touch!

Ford is going to be selling the original Mustang again! $15,000, but there’s some assembly required. I think this is so cool!
3rd Annual Car and Bike Show a SUCCESS!

This year’s car show was a huge success considering how bad the weather was the morning of the show. Rain was still sprinkling as late as an hour before the show started, but quickly stopped so we could get set up and be ready to go just in time!
We raised $837.94 on the day of the show with 35 cars (10 fewer than the usual average) and fewer spectators than normal, I believe because of the weather. All of you participated and were very helpful! I was really proud of you all. You put on a terrific show!
Now… How much more did we bring in from the next day’s bake sale? Let’s see…

We are going to Lagniappe, Wednesday, Oct 19.
Lagniappe starts at 7:30pm. We will meet in room 274 at the Winnetka Campus at 6:00pm for pizza and XBox games. from there we will go to Lagniappe!

Saturday morning I decided to head over to Napa Auto Parts to buy a few items for the awards baskets, and the proprietor donated a bunch of great stuff to put in the awards baskets! They look great and are a terrific way to say thanks to the vehicle owners at our show!

We decorated our door and it turned out great. We were the only boys adviser room to decorate. We didn’t win the competition, but we got honorable mention Best of the Boys!
